Corrections and formula questions

Errors in formulas, examples, input limits, sources or wording should be easy to report and visible when corrected.

What to report

  • The calculator URL and the input values used.
  • The result received and the result you expected.
  • The formula, source or wording that appears incorrect.
  • A link to any primary source supporting the correction.

How corrections are handled

  1. Reproduce the issue using the published inputs.
  2. Compare the implementation with the visible formula and methodology.
  3. Correct calculation logic, content and structured data together.
  4. Update the page-specific revision note and the public changelog.
  5. Where a result could materially mislead users, add a prominent correction note.

Professional boundaries

Business Rescue Tools does not treat disagreement with a business assumption as a formula error. However, assumptions must be visible, internally consistent and accurately implemented. Tax, accounting, legal or regulatory corrections should be supported by an authoritative source or a named qualified reviewer.
